PLAN DESIGN AND CREATION

  • Preparation of expert Consultant assisted demonstrations and proposals for plan design based on Employer Census and retirement plan goals.
  • Preparation of formal Plan and Trust documentation.
  • Preparation of suggested sponsorship resolutions to adopt the plan.
  • Preparation of Plan related forms including salary reduction agreements, beneficiary designations, direction of investment elections, bonding requirements, and trust instructions.
  • Preparation of Forms and Notices necessary to inform participants of Plan features and benefits including Summary Plan Descriptions, Safe Harbor Election Notices, and Summaries of Material Modifications.
  • Preparation of Forms and Notices necessary if plan design requires submission to the IRS for approval.
  • Consulting and assistance with Employee participation and enrollment meetings.

 

PLAN ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING

  • Provision of expert Plan Administration and Operational Consulting.
  • Preparation of employer Census and information gathering.
  • Preparation of Employer Contribution calculations and non discrimination testing.
  • Preparation of suggested allocation of contribution and any necessary corrections for administrative compliance.
  • Trust Account(s) reconciliation and valuation.
  • Preparation of Employee account summaries indicating vesting and earnings.
  • Preparation of Employee Account Certificates and Summary Annual Reports which conform to regulations.
  • Preparation of yearly IRS Forms and Schedules necessary to report and file Plan and Trust administration and operation.
  • Preparation of termination and distribution calculations with accompanying forms and notices required by regulations.
  • Annual Reporting and preparation of IRS Form 1099 and 945 for plan distributions.
