Rene has been with BCS since 2005. After beginning her pension career in 2002, Rene joined BCS as its first employee in 2005. In 2009 she earned the ASPPA designation of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). As the Senior Pension Administrator, Rene is involved in all aspects of plan administration. She assists in complex plan design and focuses primarily on quality control, mentoring and operations workflow. Rene graduated from California State University, Chico, earning her B.S. Degree in Mathematics with an Option in Statistics, and then spent two and a half years in Washington State working in the insurance industry, before moving back to Chico with her husband to start a family. After her return to the area, she found a home in the pension industry. Rene enjoys singing in a community women’s choir and being active in the outdoors, especially spending summer weekends with her family camping at Bucks Lake.
Julie has been with BCS since 2008 as a pension administrator in Bidwell’s Compliance Department. Julie received her A.A. degree from Shasta College in Redding, California in 1997, and then she moved to Chico after being accepted at CSU, Chico. She began working in the pension industry as a documents administrator (assisting in the GUST restatements) in 2002. In 2008, she was hired by BCS as a pension administrator in the compliance department. She enjoys the vibrant downtown and access to beautiful parks that Chico has to offer along with her husband and their two children.
Emily has been with BCS since 2012 as a pension administrator in Bidwell’s Compliance Department. Emily moved to Chico, California in 1997. She graduated from CSU, Chico in 2001 and began her pension career in 2002. Emily’s free time is spent organic gardening, doing yoga, or on the tennis court.
Brecken was hired in 2013 as a Document Administrator for Bidwell Consulting Services, Inc. Brecken graduated from Durham High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Davis. Brecken currently lives in Chico with two longtime friends, and he spends much of his spare time socializing, reading, writing, and running in beautiful Bidwell Park.
Meghan was hired in September of 2015 as a Trust Balancer and was soon promoted to Consultant Assistant in early 2016. Meghan received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Chico State in 2014. Meghan currently lives in Chico and enjoys traveling, photography and spending time with family and friends in her free time.
Emma joined the Compliance Department of Bidwell Consulting Services in November 2015. She has lived in Chico since 1994. She graduated from University of the Pacific in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics. After spending a year studying in Germany, she completed her Masters of Science in Applied Economics and Finance in June 2015. She’s happy to be returning to Chico to settle down with her fiancé Marijan.
Jessica was hired in 2016 as a Trust Balancer for Bidwell Consulting Services, Inc. Jessica graduated from Durham High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of Colorado. Jessica currently lives in Durham and spends most of her free time designing, exploring, and spending time with her fiancé and their 2 dogs.
